The Management Council is pleased to announce that the name of the organization has been changed to the International Organization for Collaborative Outcome Management or IOCOM. The name change follows numerous requests from members to make the organization more representative and to give it a more global, rather than a regional perspective.

IPDET Scholarships

The International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET) is awarding scholarship funds to qualified applicants. IPDET will consider scholarships for those who come from and work in a developing country. Employees of development banks or other financial institutions are generally ineligible. Employees of UN agencies may be awarded in special circumstances.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Network of the Philippines

The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), in partnership with UNICEF launched the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Network in Philippines on November 8, 2011. 2012 Center for Evaluation (CEval) International Conference

The Center for Evaluation (CEval) is pleased to announce that its international conference about "The Future of Evaluation in Modern Societies" will be held at Saarland University in Saarbruecken, Germany from June 14 - 15, 2012.

2012 Australasian Evaluation Society (AES) International Conference

The Australasian Evaluation Society is pleased to announce its international conference will be held in Adelaide, Australia from August 27-31, 2012. The theme this year is 'Evaluation in a changing world' inviting all those with an interest in evaluation to think about the ways our world is changing and therefore how our work is – or could be – changing. This theme provides an invitation to highlight and examine new developments in evaluation methodology and technologies. It also invites the AES and the conference itself to trial some innovative sessions, approaches, and technologies.

2012 Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) Conference

The 2012 CES Conference calls for presentations are now open. Presentation modes include papers, posters, panels, symposia, and workshops. The deadline for proposals is November 30, 2011. Although presentations on other topics will be considered, preference will be given to those that address one or more of the following conference sub-themes:

Evaluating diverse populations and programs
Difference within the evaluation profession
Encountering Difference in Evaluation Methods and Approaches

The conference will be held May 13-16, 2012 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

IOCOMSA's First Anniversary

The IOCOMSA management council is very happy to announce that IOCOMSA celebrated its first anniversary on Friday, January 28th. IOCOMSA was launched one year ago with an official announcement at the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Evaluation Society (National Capital Chapter), in Ottawa, Canada. We now have over 190 members from South Asia and all over the world.
